Social Web Makes Internet Business Profitable

As predicted, there has been an explosion of Social Media and the Web has now become the "Social Web."

These are exciting times for Internet Entrepreneurs, especially those involved in Network Marketing. You will learn about the exciting potential awaiting you in this article.

As of to date that Yahoo had abandoned its 360° social network and was planning a new social network to be named Yahoo Mash. Since then, Mash was started and then, itself, closed down within approximately one year.

Contemporaneous with its failed experiment with Mash, Yahoo also expanded its "Yahoo Answers" into "Yahoo Answers Network." Although not widely known, there is some logic to Yahoo’s reliance on its "Yahoo’s Answers Network." While, as of this writing, Facebook and Twitter dominate the "social network" sphere, and LinkedIn dominates the "professional network" sphere, perhaps Yahoo’s Answers Network may come to dominate the "knowledge network" sphere.

In the meantime, Yahoo has cut deals with both Facebook and Twitter to connect to these popular social networks from Yahoo properties. Likewise, Google’s Orkut seems to have been left in Facebook’s and Twitter’s dust. Instead of pushing Orkut, Google is relying on its "Friends Connect" open social functionality (which you can use to create connections to your own websites) and has just recently launched Google Buzz. Google Buzz is an expansion of Google’s popular e-mail (Gmail) to allow sharing of links, photos, videos, and status messages as well as comments organized in "conversations" and visible in the user's Gmail inbox. Google also recently experimented with an interesting beta product called "Google Wave," which combined e-mail and social networking into an entirely new "protocol."

Google abandoned Wave, though, before it ever got off the ground. Google also, of course, has YouTube, which plays a crucial role in social media, with expanding networking features as well.

At the time of this writing, however, Facebook and Twitter are clearly at the top of the social networking heap.

While Myspace used to be synonymous with social networking, now the phrase "Facebook and Twitter" has come to stand for social networking. Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft, while they remain dominant in other Internet fields, are now all cutting deals to interface their properties with Facebook and Twitter, who are clearly dominant in the social media arena at this time.

There are other players as well. As mentioned above, LinkedIn appears to be dominant in connecting people for professional purposes. YouTube connects people based on their interests in video news and entertainment. Digg, which connects people based on their appreciation of content, still seems to have some popularity.

Other video sharing, photo sharing, and file sharing sites abound, with various means of creating and sustaining connections. The recent explosion of social media, though, can clearly be credited to Facebook and Twitter, both now hundreds of millions of members strong. I know a lot of grandmothers who, while they would quickly get lost in Yahoo or Google’s properties, know how to get on Facebook and see the latest pictures of their grandchildren.

Thanks to Twitter, we can all now follow our friends and relatives’ daily activities and contemplations. Who the players in the industry may be, however, is not our main concern here.

Our main focus should be on how easy it is now to connect with people and publish interesting material to them, promoting ourselves and our ventures in the process.

Easy To Get Started Going into background and detail, on various aspects of the Social Web and Social Media Marketing. You do not have to wait for and read all these lessons to get started, however.

Facebook and Twitter have both been designed to make it easy to start using them. Most reading this will already be using Facebook and/or Twitter. If you’re not, it’s time to jump in. Just go to Facebook.com and Twitter.com, sign up, and get started. Although it is easy to get started, there is a lot of work in acquiring the skills and making the preparations needed to be effective at Social Media Marketing.

The Really Good News What makes it more exciting is that this social media marketing becomes hub for eMarketing or network marketing people. Network Marketing, while it has acquired some bad connotations, is a tremendously beautiful and powerful idea.

The powerful new social networking possibilities provided by Myspace, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and others make connecting and communicating with your existing network—as well as expanding your network—so very easy.

While much time used to be spent with personal meetings, snail mail and phone calls; now you quickly and simply post on your social networks, with links to more detail! History has proven over and over again that when two separately evolving methods or technologies converge, huge profits are made by many.

The "Social Web" seems like it was custom made for

Network Marketing, due to the evolution of Social Web, becomes the natural way of marketing. Interestingly, commercial speech in the online social networks is not disdained like commercial speech on the Internet has been in the past. Coming from a connected friend, relative, or associate, it is not spam.

The really good news is that, thanks to online social networking, the Internet is now fully ripe for Network Marketing! And, it has never been easier.

Even more good news is that we can use this social web to make our money simple and easy. With the programs made by internet businesses program to market and the Social Web on which to market it, nothing could be easier or more profitable.

Here’s how simple it is:

1. Businesses love the Social Web. They sign up in droves for both Facebook and Twitter.

2. On Twitter you can follow any business you desire. On Facebook, you can become a fan of any business you desire. When you follow or become a fan, these businesses generally follow back, or at least look at your profile.

3. By putting a link  such as this :
